FAQ
Is my file uploaded?
No. The viewer runs in your browser: the file is read from your disk and nothing is sent to a server.
The text looks garbled. What can I do?
The file uses a different encoding. Pick another one in the Encoding menu, for example Windows-1252, Windows-1258 (Vietnamese) or Shift JIS.
How large a file can I open?
Files of tens of megabytes open in a moment on a computer. Very large files depend on the memory of your device; the limit here is 300 MB.
Can I edit the file?
This is a viewer. To change Markdown, use the Markdown to PDF editor; the Android app is also read-only by design.
